We demolished the existing roof, railings, and wood decking. Our clients choose to use all maintenance-free materials, so we used a composite deck floor and vinyl railings. This will provide them with years of simple annual spray-offs with a hose. We expanded the covered screened “living” room, giving them ample bug-free entertaining space. The bonus was that the open grill deck was still a large landing before walking into the screen porch.
